A skin that is well balanced in nutrition is able to preserve adequate hydration, keep its defences up and counteract the ageing process. Skin dryness manifests itself in different stages and is influenced by multiple factors: constitutional, climatic, environmental, physiological and pathological.

The condition of dry skin tends to worsen with advancing age, as the ageing process progressively reduces sebum production, leading the skin to appear thinner, less elastic and more fragile, with a greater predisposition to the formation of diffuse wrinkles.

The use of unsuitable cosmetics can not only be ineffective, but can also aggravate the situation, further increasing skin dryness.

From clinical studies conducted on skin dryness and age-related aggravation, BAKEL developed 360 BUTTER Nourishing & Age-defying, a compact anti-ageing balm for face and body that counteracts the loss of oily substances. Its 19 clean active ingredients repair and support the lipid component, protecting the skin naturally and restoring tone and elasticity to even the driest skin.

Argan oil (Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil), of vegetable origin, is rich in numerous beneficial properties for the skin. It contains 80% unsaturated fatty acids with nourishing and moisturising action, including oleic, linoleic and palmitic. It also has a high concentration of vitamin E (about twice as much as olive oil), phenols (including caffeic acid, ferulic acid and epicatechin), and rare sterols with soothing and anti-inflammatory properties.

Thanks to this composition, argan oil is able to nourish, intensely moisturise the skin, exert a powerful antioxidant action and improve skin elasticity.

Cotton oil (Gossypium Herbaceum Seed Oil), also of vegetable origin, is rich in linoleic, palmitic and oleic acids, and a mixture of arachidic, behenic and lignoceric acids. It is prized for its rapid absorption capacity, with the linolenic acid integrating into the skin matrix. This oil nourishes and moisturises the skin, supporting the barrier function, maintaining proper moisture levels and contributing to antioxidant action.

Illipé butter (Shorea Stenoptera Seed Butter), of vegetable origin, is rich in vitamins A and E. This butter is particularly valued for its ability to restore moisture and elasticity, combat premature ageing, stimulate healthy sebum production and protect the skin from external agents. It supports the improvement of very dry and chapped skin conditions, sunburns, healing sores, damaged and thickened skin (such as on the feet). It is considered a good alternative to cocoa butter.

Vitamin E (Tocopherol), of vegetable origin, is the main fat-soluble antioxidant in our skin. Being fat-soluble, it is easily absorbed by the skin by affinity, and research shows that the natural form is more active and better assimilated. Many studies also confirm that vitamin E has photoprotective properties, particularly against UVB rays, reducing damage and inhibiting photocarcinogenesis.

Linolenic acid (Linolenic Acid), linoleic acid (Linoleic Acid) and arachidonic acid (Arachidonic Acid), of plant origin, are omega fatty acids, a type of essential fatty acid (EFA). These substances are indispensable for our health and offer extraordinary beneficial properties when applied to the skin.

The omega fatty acids – linolenic acid (omega 3), linoleic acid and arachidonic acid (omega 6) – help to strengthen and repair the skin barrier, nourish and moisturise the skin, improving its elasticity, soothe irritation and reduce damage caused by sun exposure.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

For face, eye contour, eyelids, lips, neck and décolleté: Apply morning and evening on cleansed skin or after BAKEL serum(s). Gently massage the product in from the bottom up, from the inside out until completely absorbed. Suitable for all skin types and all age groups.

For the body: Apply morning and evening by massaging the product all over the body with moistened skin, especially after bathing and showering. Recommended during pregnancy and dieting. For a nourishing and elasticising booster effect against stretch marks, mix with the BODY-LIFTER body serum. Suitable for all skin types and all age groups.

Vegetable-derived ingredients make the formulation temperature-sensitive; changes in temperature may change the density of the product. To facilitate the use of 360 BUTTER, when the product has a very dense consistency, it is recommended to handle the bottle with the hands before dispensing.
